Can I use it on my face? Many of our own friends, family and staff have used it on their faces and absolutely love it! Having said that, everyone’s face is different and we all react to natural oils differently, so it’s always best to do a small patch test (i.e. along your jaw line) to see how your skin reacts. All of the oils in our formulation rank 1-3 on the comedogenic spectrum (which ranges from 0-5), so our formula would be considered low-to-moderate. Very few oils are a true “0.” What does this mean? On most skin types, our oil will be found to be non-comedogenic and will not clog pores. In fact, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties in some of the oils in this formula may actually help with various skin conditions, including acne and rosacea! If you have sensitive skin or are concerned about breakouts, please check with a health care professional or dermatologist before use. How many drops should I use? A little goes a long way, and won’t leave your hair or skin feeling greasy. This product absorbs very quickly, and does its job very (very) well! You may be tempted to use a lot, but you truly won’t need to! Adjust the quantity depending on what you’re using it for (for example, on your nails, you only need a couple drops, whereas on your legs, you may want to use a few more).
