Elixir Oil

For hair (daily + styling): Warm 1–3 drops between your palms and apply to damp or dry hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends. Use as a finishing step to soften, break gel casts, enhance shine, and smooth frizz without weight.

To seal and protect: Apply a small amount after your styling products to lock in moisture and help maintain hydration throughout the day.

For scalp care: Massage a few drops directly into the scalp. Leave in or use as a pre-wash treatment.

As a treatment: Apply more generously from scalp to ends as an overnight or pre-wash hot oil treatment to deeply condition and restore softness.

For skin + nails: Press a drop into dry areas—cuticles, elbows, or anywhere needing extra moisture—for a smooth, hydrated finish with a natural glow.

Is it non-comedogenic? Can I use it on my face?

Many of our own friends, family and staff have used it on their faces and absolutely love it! Having said that, everyone’s face is different and we all react to natural oils differently, so it’s always best to do a small patch test (i.e. along your jaw line) to see how your skin reacts.

All of the oils in our formulation rank 1-3 on the comedogenic spectrum (which ranges from 0-5), so our formula would be considered low-to-moderate. Very few oils are a true “0.”

What does this mean? On most skin types, our oil will be found to be non-comedogenic and will not clog pores. In fact, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties in some of the oils in this formula may actually help with various skin conditions, including acne and rosacea! If you have sensitive skin or are concerned about breakouts, please check with a health care professional or dermatologist before use.

How many drops should I use?

A little goes a long way, and won’t leave your hair or skin feeling greasy. This product absorbs very quickly, and does its job very (very) well! You may be tempted to use a lot, but you truly won’t need to! Adjust the quantity depending on what you’re using it for (for example, on your nails, you only need a couple drops, whereas on your legs, you may want to use a few more). Our handy glass dropper allows for accurate application every time, so you don’t over-pour and waste your precious oil!

What are the benefits of using Elixir Oil?

This multi-use oil adds shine, reduces frizz, and nourishes dry or damaged strands. It’s also great as a scalp treatment or overnight pre-wash oil.

Can you describe the scent?

The Elixir Oil has no added fragrance or perfume whatsoever! The product is very neutral in scent. Most people who have smelled it agree that it actually has no scent at all.

How to get the best results

For sealing/moisture

Apply a small amount to your strands after your Curl Defining Lotion to lock in hydration.

For shine/frizz

Use a tiny amount on dry hair as a finishing touch, or to smooth frizz.

For scalp care

Use to massage the scalp and as a hot oil treatment. Don’t overdo it: Too much oil can lead to buildup or weigh your hair down, so start small.

Boost your Curl Defining Lotion

You can mix a few drops of Elixir Oil with your Curl Defining Lotion to add some extra nourishment.

Overnight treatment

For deep nourishment, apply generously to scalp and strands, then wrap hair and wash out in the morning.

Play around

Our Elixir Oil can be used on the hair, skin, nails, and feet. You can apply a little to boost some hydration and give a luxury experience.
